    School of Rock Reno is taking over the stage for their Mid-Season Performance, and you won’t want to miss the incredible talent their students have been working so hard to showcase.

    They will be kicking things off with an opening set by their Rock 101 group followed by their performance groups and adult band pay tribute to some of the greatest eras and icons in music history including “Best of the 80s,” Punk Rock,” Fleetwood Mac” and “Best of the 2000s.”

    Buddy Emmer’s Tuesday Night Blues
    The longest-running blues residency in Northern Nevada, Buddy Emmer’s Tuesday Night Blues is held weekley at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe Center Stage from 8-11 p.m. There’s no cover charge. The Buddy Emmer Blues Band featuring singer Kim Emmer opens the show, followed by two sets with a featured guest. The lists of blues player who have appeared is impressive: Kyle Rowland, Mighty Mike Schermer, Chris Cain, Johnny Burgin, Terry Hanck, Daniel Castro, Steve Freund, Nancy Wright, Tony Ghiglieri, Chuck Dunn, Jason King, Miles Schon, Andy Santana, Todd Morgan, Snakeboy Johnson, Shane Dwight, Mark Wilson, Matty T, Laurie Morvan, Mike Clarke, Alvon Johnson, Jeramy Norris, Richie Blue, Mark Hummel and Kid Andersen.

    The Tedeschi Trucks Band is an American blues and blues rock group based in Jacksonville, Florida. Formed in 2010, the band is led by married couple Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks. Their debut album, Revelator, won the 2012 Grammy Award for Best Blues Album.

    TAB BENOIT 2024Tab Benoit is a 4x Grammy nominated singer, songwriter and guitarist who has built a remarkable 30+ year career on the foundation of his gritty and soulful Delta swamp blues, acquiring a devoted legion of fans along the way, as well as5 Blues Music Awards, including BB King Entertainer of the Year (twice) and an induction into The Louisiana Music Hall of Fame.

    After a 13-year hiatus, Tab is back with his latest effort, I Hear Thunder, on his own label, Whiskey Bayou Records. The newalbum was his first #1 in the Billboard charts in over 30 years. Read more about it in Billboard here..Benoit's 2013 release, Medicine, was co-produced with Anders Osborne for Concord International, and garnered three Blues Music Awards. Following this notable success, Benoit took a step away from music, taking a 13-year sabbatical from recording and entering a period of creative exile.
