Mike Zito won the 2026 “Blues Foundation’s Album of the Year”(in collaboration with Albert Castiglia), 2025, “Blues Rock Album of the Year”, plus two 2024 Blues Music Awards for “Blues Rock Artist of the Year” and “Blues Rock Album of the Year.” The band will have everyone on the dance floor enjoying Zito’s high energy Blues guitar.
Kat Heart coordinates the RBS Blues Jams. Her solid guitar skills and ‘built for the Blues’ voice has graced every event. The “Feral Heart Band” has been weaving through Northern Nevada playing a wide range of genres and an increasing repertoire of Kat Heart originals.
Mike Zito, powerhouse blues rock artist and national awards recipient, headlines Cruisin’ the Blues at the National Automobile Museum, Saturday November 14.

Join the National Automobile Museum for a Night at the Drive-In! Live band, retro fun, and a sunset screening of Grease!
The National Automobile Museum is inviting the community to step back into the golden age of rock ‘n’ roll with the debut of “Rock & Roll Night at the Drive-In,” a one-of-a-kind experience taking place Friday, August 28, 2026.
For the first time, Reno will host a drive-in event that combines the excitement of live entertainment, classic automobiles, audience participation, and an outdoor movie under the stars. Guests will enjoy an evening filled with music, dancing, contests, and nostalgia before settling in to watch the beloved musical classic Grease on the big screen.” This is much more than a movie night,” said Phil MacDougall, President of the National Automobile Museum. “We’re creating an immersive experience that celebrates the music, fashion, automobiles, and culture of the 1950s. We wanted to bring something truly unique to Reno—an evening where families, friends, and car enthusiasts can make memories together.”
RBS – 2nd Annual Cruisin’ The Blues
Multiple award-winning, California-based blues and rock sensation Tommy Castro is the guiatar slinging, soul-singing leader of the telepathically tight and wildly raucous Tommy Castro & The Painkillers. He’s released 17 previous albums over the course of his four-decade career. Each release features its own individual sound and style, ranging from horn-fueled R&B to piping hot blues and soul to fiery, stripped-down rock ‘n’ roll . With his new album, Closer To The Bone, Castro has returned to his roots, delivering what he calls “a real blues record, the way they would have made them back in the day.” Closer To The Bone is the most unvarnished, straight-ahead blues release of Castro’s career, one that bristles with every ounce of his dynamic energy and raw emotion.
Castro received his fourth prestigious and coveted Blues Music Award for B.B. King Entertainer of the Year in 2023. He’s taken home a total of 10 Blues Music Awards and is among the genre’s most decorated artists. Castro’s relentless road-dog approach-gig after gig, 150 nights a year – continues to earn him loyal, lifelong fans everywhere he plays. The Washington Post says Castro is “phenomenal and funky” with “soulful vocals and inspired blues guitar.” Famed guitarist Joe Bonamassa says “Tommy has always been top of the heap among blues guitar players. He always puts on a great show.”

RBS EVENT! Cruisin’ the Blues featuring Chris Cain
Chris Cain offers up a soulful stew of Memphis style electric blues. His powerfully deep vocals and jazz inspired, blues guitar riffs are unforgettable; uniquely his own, while reminiscent of the legendary BB King and Albert King. As a child, Chris Cain attended concerts with his dad to hear many of the great blues artists of the time. When Cain burst onto the blues scene in 1987 with his award winning debut album, he soon found himself sharing the stage and trading licks with a few of those legends, including Albert King and Albert Collins. Chris Cain has released a dozen albums, each filled with soul-stirring songs pulled from his own blues drenched heart. His brand of blues is unforgettable.
