SUMMARY:ZZ Top
DESCRIPTION:ZZ Top\, the Texas trio\, has been a powerhouse of blues-rock with a career spanning over five decades\, known for their unmistakable sound\, beards\, and sunglasses. Comprising Billy Gibbons on guitar and vocals\, Dusty Hill on bass and backing vocals\, and Frank Beard on drums\, they solidified their status with hits like “La Grange\,” “Tush\,” and “Sharp Dressed Man.” Their synthesis of rock\, blues\, and boogie has earned them a place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The band’s image and iconography\, including their custom hot rods\, have become symbols of their enduring appeal. Sadly\, Dusty Hill passed away in 2021\, but ZZ Top continues to tour with Billy Gibbons and Frank Beard joined by their new bass player\, Elwood Francis\, keeping the legacy alive.
